Get ready to laugh and fall in love with BLIND DATE, an uproarious romantic comedy. This quirky and heartwarming play takes you on a rollercoaster ride through the world of dating and relationships, while offering a fresh perspective on friendship, self-discovery, and the complexities of love.

BLIND DATE centers around two roommates, Julia and Meg, as they embark on a journey filled with humor, unexpected twists, and a dash of bad advice. Julia, the confident and outgoing roommate, takes it upon herself to help her introverted and inexperienced friend Meg prepare for a blind date.

At first glance, Julia’s intention seems to be to push Meg out of her comfort zone, encouraging her to take risks and explore her romantic side. However, beneath Julia’s playful banter and matchmaking attempts, there are deeper motivations at play. It is revealed that Julia had a romantic history with Dave.

As the play unfolds with Meg and Dave’s blind date at Ralph’s Italian restaurant, they share their complicated relationships with Julia. Her motivations to meddle in Meg’s dating life come from a place of care and protection, but are also influenced by her own unresolved feelings and the need for control. The final scene promises an explosive climax, as secrets are revealed and relationships are tested. Amidst the laughter and surprises, BLIND DATE touches upon the complexities of friendship, the pursuit of happiness, and the resilience of the human spirit.

BLIND DATE will be released in paperback later this year as part of a collection. It is available for licensing directly from the author. Send us an email if you’d like to do a production.
